Designed to showcase the ultimate range of Scuba Equipment in New Zealand, our brand new Dive Mega Store offers over 6000 sq ft of retail, servicing, testing, and airfilling facilities for divers, snorkellers, and swimmers.
Including dedicated areas for diver education, dive trips, swimming, family snorkelling, dive systems, dive packages, and underwater hunting, there is a huge wall dedicated to an expanding range of accessories which will tempt any diver to buy new gadgets for themselves. The shop also includes an impressive 2.4m movie screen featuring a range of dive movies and documentaries, plus smaller screens in the diver education area and even "Finding Nemo" on the X-box in the kids' area - although many adults end up playing as well :-)!
Super clean airfills, enriched airfills, and onsite testing and servicing of all equipment fills out the range of services on offer at the new store.
Obviously fancy stores and lots of equipment don't necessarily make a great dive store, as it's the people and service that make a company. Which is one of the main advantages in our company - our store has been designed and run by the most experienced dive family in New Zealand.
Dive Centre Ltd is New Zealand's longest running dive store, serving NZ's divers since 1971. Previously based in the same building for over 35 years, the Kidd family designed this brand new store just down the road and moved Dive Centre into this new location in June 2006.
Our team are very proud to receive industry awards every single year, as we strive to give the best service and advice possible. Which is why the decision was made to provide customers with an improved shopping experience. A brand new bigger retail space offering room for an extended range of equipment plus improved access from the road and parking right outside the door!
