We want to be sure you have a great days diving!

You can be rest assured that we have worked hard to find many great dive sites that are accessible from Auckland, and will only recommend professional Charter Boat Operators. Check out details on the different operators we use at the end of the trip list.

Remember, you don't have to wait for your mates to be free, book on to any trip and you will be buddied up on the boat - no problems!

Charter operators

"Shadowfax"

- All trips leave from Tutukaka (just over 2 hours drive north of Auckland), they run a purpose-built 12m "cat" which is the fastest boat to the Poor Knights ( rated as one of the top ten dive sites in the world! ) They cater for more experienced divers at sites other operators don't go to!

Dive Tairua

- All trips leave from Tairua (approximately two hours drive south of Auckland), they run a 7.5m Alluminium boat for the 30 minute run to the Aldermans. In the same tropical current as the Poor Knights with very similar diving, but with the chance to catch crays!

Apollo

- All trips leave from Leigh Wharf (an easy 1 hour drive north of Auckland), they run a good, fast boat and go to the many fantastic "Outer Hauraki Gulf" Islands, all are suitable for Scenic Dives or Hunting,and most are good for novice divers.
